Cat in the Hat Comes Back on DVD

Universal will be releasing DR. SEUSS' THE CAT IN THE HAT, based on the classic children's book, on DVD and VHS March 16, 2004. The pricing for the release is $26.98 SRP/$19.95 MAP for DVD and $24.98 SRP/$15.95 MAP for VHS. The film was directed by MEN IN BLACK production designer Bo Welch and produced by THE GRINCH producer Brian Grazer.

* Dance-A-Long With The Cat - An interactive dance lesson in which the Cat in the Hat gives kids a chance to follow easy dance steps
* 16 Deleted Scenes - Offering never-before-seen footage

* 20 Outtakes - Over an hour of outtakes featuring bloopers from Mike Meyers as The Cat and other cast members

* Seussville, USA - A behind the scenes at the transformation of Pomona, California into Seuss-land.
* The Mother of all Messes - A view of the special effects work that went into the big mess
* The Music - A firsthand look at the unusual array of Seussian instruments created just for the film.
* 'The Cat' - an in-depth look into the whimsical movie mess created for the climactic clean up scene
* 'The Fish' - a look at how the movie's animated fish got its personality
* 'The S.L.O.W.' -an all-encompassing look at the creation of the outlandish Seussian driving machine.
