Press Release from Autodesk

Within the first hour of NAB 2009, Smoke & Mirrors London purchased two seats of Autodesk Flare -- the new software-only creative companion to Autodesk Flame and Autodesk Inferno visual effects systems.

Smoke & Mirrors are adding Flare to their arsenal of Autodesk products, which includes:

-- Autodesk Flame visual effects system
-- Autodesk Smoke editorial finishing and visual effects system
-- Autodesk Toxik compositing and visual effects software
-- Autodesk Combustion desktop compositing software
-- Autodesk Backdraft Conform software
-- Autodesk Maya modeling, animation, visual effects and rendering software
-- Autodesk 3ds Max modeling, animation and rendering software
-- Autodesk Softimage modeling, animation, visual effects and rendering software

Smoke & Mirrors London beta tested Autodesk Flare, providing valuable input on its development. Featuring the core creative toolset of Flame and Inferno, Flare is designed to boost creativity, expand capacity and develop talent for Flame and Inferno customers. Flare is intended for advanced creative tasks, such as compositing, sophisticated graphics and interactive design, as well as support tasks such as rotoscoping, retouching and dust removal, project setup and keying.

Smoke & Mirrors is a visual effects and post-production company servicing advertising, film and music video projects. Established in 1995, Smoke & Mirrors has offices in London, New York and Shanghai.
