THE WRESTLER director Darren Aronofsky is in works on a heist flick based on the 2006 robbery of the Securitas Depot in Tonbridge, England, reports VARIETY. XYZ Films, Time Inc. Studios and Protozoa Pictures are producing the indie film. Protozoa's Scott Franklin and Aronofsky are producing. Time Inc. Studios head Paul Speaker is the exec producer. XYZ will fund the development.

Kerry Williamson is penning the screenplay from the SPORTS ILLUSTRATED article "Breaking the Bank," written by Jon Wertheim, and the nonfiction book HEIST: THE INSIDE STORY OF THE WORLD'S BIGGEST ROBBERY, written by Howard Sounes.
