National Geographic announces a call for animation entries for the All Roads Film Festival to be held October 22–24, 2004, at the Egyptian Theater in Los Angeles and October 28–30, 2004, and at National Geographic Headquarters in Washington, D.C. The festival will celebrate the works of indigenous and under represented minority culture filmmakers from around the globe.

The All Roads Film Festival is seeking innovative and entertaining animations that will bring a rich tableau of cultural experience to a children’s audience. All types of animated films will be considered, including feature length, shorts, mixed media and music videos. Entries for animated shorts appealing to an adult audience will also be accepted.

All films submitted must have an English language version. Films chosen for the All Roads Film Festival will be considered for inclusion in a home video compilation that will be distributed internationally by National Geographic.
