Victory Arts Sends ‘YOUniverse’ Into Canadian Orbit

Children’s content creator and producer announces the sale of its children’s interstitial series, YOUniverse, to Canadian broadcasters TVO and Knowledge Network. 

Ottawa -- Children’s content creator and producer Victory Arts announced the sale of its children’s interstitial series YOUniverse (13 x 2:15) to Canadian broadcasters TVO and Knowledge Network.

YOUniverse is a series of beautifully crafted mixed media interstitial shorts targeted to ages 2-6 that showcase space exploration from the imaginations of kids, sprinkled with scientific facts.

“We are delighted that YOUniverse has found great Canadian homes as we head to Kidscreen to expand the series’ international sales,” said Tero Hollo, President and Director of Creative Content.  

YOUniverse is nominated for a 2014 Kidscreen award in the “Best One-Off, Special or TV Movie” category. Victory Arts’ animated children’s series Plane Jane also received a nomination for “Best Companion Website.”

Victory Arts also heads to Kidscreen with its newest series Alphabet Stories (26 x1:30) Currently in production, Alphabet Stories is a snackable interstitial series that highlights the alphabet in unique and engaging story style to inspire and educate kids to associate letters with words and images. Production is scheduled to be completed in in March, 2014 with availability for April 1, 2014.
