Victory Arts Announces MIPCOM Slate

Victory Arts announces their MIPCOM slate which includes Plane Jane, Hugz and Kissez, Shirley Locks, and more.

Ottawa, Canada -- Victory Arts announced its slate of new live action and animated series being presented at MIPJunior and MIPCOM. 

Victory Arts is a Canadian based children’s content creator and producer with engaging properties and lovable characters that capture the hearts of kids and parents. Originally a production service company, Victory Arts is now fully focused on producing and distributing its own animated and live action IP content properties including Plane Jane, Hugz and Kissez, Shirley Locks, apacApets, Alpha Ants and YOUniverse.

“It’s exciting to be heading to our first MIPJunior and MIPCOM with so many of our own original projects, each complete with a full digital strategy of unique interactive experiences,” said Tero Hollo, Founder, President and Creative Director, Victory Arts.  

Plane Jane(52x11’) Currently in development, the animated preschool series for ages 2-6 is about flight, friendship and searching for adventure, one “keyword” search at a time. Centered on a bright and inquisitive four-year-old girl who is fascinated with different cultures and using her tablet to learn about aviation and finding new ways to fly.

Hugz and Kissez (26x11’) Currently in development, the animated preschool series will have girls 3-6 bopping along with the Hugz and Kissez band on their adventures full of original pop music songs, dancing and self-discovery, as they search to find the missing sounds they need to complete their songs.

Shirley Locks (26X11’) is an animated preschool series about a girl, who learns how to solve everyday, household mysteries with her pet bird named Watson. Targeted to 3-6 year girls and boys, Shirley Locks is currently in development and seeking co-production and financing partners.

apacApets (13x1’), a unique set of preschool mixed media interstitials targeted to children ages 1-3,  about developmental growth through colour, movement, sound and natural learning.

Alpha Ants, (13x3’), starting production this fall, is a CG/live action series of interstitials that follows a colony of ants that are obsessed with spelling words through teamwork and collaboration..

YOUniverse (13x2’) is a series of beautifully crafted mixed media interstitial shorts that showcase space exploration from the imaginations of kids, sprinkled with scientific facts.  The series is targeted to ages 2-6, but equally appealing to parents.

Victory Arts will be at the Telefilm Canada Pavilion at MIPCOM this year.
