Universal Studios Hollywood Appoints Xiomara Wiley, SVP, Marketing and Sales

Universal Studios Hollywood has named marketing exec Xiomara Wiley to the position of Senior VP, Marketing and Sales, with responsibilities for the overall brand direction of the entertainment landmark including the theme park and the CityWalk shopping and entertainment complex.

Reporting to Wiley will be Josh Cole, VP, Interactive Marketing; Tari Garza, VP, Partnership Marketing and Promotions; David Miller, VP, Brand Marketing; Thomas See, VP, Sales; Eliot Sekuler, VP, Public Relations and Location & Production Services; Pat Donahue, Director Entertainment and Special Projects, CityWalk and USH; Wendy Kheel, Director, Consumer Insights and Nicolette Munoz, Director, Marketing, CityWalk.

Prior to joining Universal Studios Hollywood, Wiley held increasing levels of responsibility within the Walt Disney Parks & Resorts organization, where she most recently served as VP, Marketing for the Disneyland resort, overseeing marketing strategies for both the Disneyland and Disney California Adventure theme parks. Prior to taking that post, she served as Interim VP, Marketing for the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort during first year of the resort's operation, assigned to the restructuring of the marketing organization and improvement of marketing strategy development while also charged with oversight of attendance and occupancy goals. She began her career within the Walt Disney Parks & Resorts organization in 1995 as a finance manager.

Her earlier career experience included positions within the consumer products industry at the Bristol Meyers Squibb Company, the Proctor & Gamble Company and the Warner Lambert Company.

Wiley holds a Masters of Management degree from Northwestern University's Kellogg Graduate School of Management and a Bachelors of Arts degree from Princeton.
