Universal is in talks with McG for the director to lead their big budget OUIJA feature, reports Deadline.com. Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis (TRON: LEGACY) penned the script. Hasbro's Brian Goldner and Bennett Schneir, and Platinum Dunes' Michael Bay, Brad Fuller and Andrew Form are the producers.
Several directors had been pitching their version of the project including Breck Eisner (THE CRAZIES), Sylvain White (THE LOSERS), Pierre Morel (TAKEN), Scot Stewart (LEGION) and John Moore (MAX PAYNE).
Universal hopes to start filming in the summer. It has set Nov. 12, 2012 for its release.
