Brian K. Vaughan (LOST) has been hired to write DreamWorks TV's adaptation of Stephen King’s 2009 novel UNDER THE DOME, reports Deadline.com. The story follows the citizens of a small Maine town who are trapped there by a mysterious force field. Steven Spielberg and Stacey Snider own the rights to the book. King and DreamWorks TV’s Justin Falvey and Darryl Frank are the exec producers of the Showtime series.
