U.K. Animation Vet Edwards Consulting To Novel Ent.

Novel Entertainment has appointed animation production veteran Marion Edwards as its animation consultant to work with Novel across its portfolio of titles on a non-exclusive basis.

She starts on POCOYO, Novels latest animation project for CiTV, co-produced with Carlton international and Spains Zinkia Entertainment. She also help develop HORRID HENRY, an animated television series based on Francesca Simons internationally renowned books, as well as developing animation for a number of Novels upcoming projects.

Edwards has extensive knowledge of the U.K. and international animation markets. Most recently she was md/exec producer Telemagination from August 2000 until February 2004, where she managed the companys slate of animated projects including THE CRAMP TWINS, METALHEADS and PONGWIFFY. Telemagination

From January 1997 until August 2000, she was producer for Telemagination, developing and sourcing financing for a range of projects including the award-winning THE LAST POLAR BEARS.

An active and integral member of the U.K.s animation industry, she has held key positions including chairman of the Skillset Animation Forum, vice-chairman of the Pact Animation Policy Group and committee member of the British Animation Awards.
