Twothousandstrong Moves Up, Julia Lennon Moves In

The creative design/production company twothousandstrong, led by creative director Craig Tozzi, has moved into its new headquarters, a 4,800 square-foot loft space in Venice, California, and added Julia Lennon as new head of sales/new business development.

"We're looking to Julia to help twothousandstrong branch further into markets such as advertising and corporate projects, as well as develop more live-action production opportunities," says Tozzi. "More and more we are being asked to shoot live-action, in addition to designing and posting projects, which is very exciting. With Julia's help, we hope to expand our roster of work in these areas."

A newcomer to the production/post-production world, Lennon most recently worked as a product manager at Page & Moy Travel, a U.K.-based leader in package vacations. There, Lennon directed user interface and content for four consumer Websites and developed co-branding sponsorship strategies.

In addition to adding Lennon, twothousandstrongs new digs at 1255 Electric Avenue feature a live-action sound stage, individual design, visual effects/CG and editorial suites, a comfortable client area and a large balcony overlooking the city.

"Our old space was purely a design studio, and not very client friendly," explains Tozzi. "With our own soundstage and Softimage XSI, Avid DS and Adobe suites, this space opens up a lot of creative possibilities for us. Architecturally, it's a very open, loft-style space perfect for clients to hang out and be comfortable."

Founded in 1996, twothousandstrong (www.2000strong.com) specializes in 2D and 3D animation, film production, editorial and music direction.
