TV-Loonland Chief David Ferguson Leaves Post

David Ferguson resigned his position as a member of TV-Loonland's managing board on March 21, 2005, when his three-year contract was set to expire. As TV-Loonland Group's coo and president of Core Activities since March 2002, Ferguson played a crucial role in its development into an independent major in the international entertainment and media industry.

"We thank David Ferguson for his outstanding work for the company and for the successful cooperation, said TV-Loonland ceo Selma Käppel. We wish him much success and all the best in his new pursuits."

Now only one member of the managing board will lead TV-Loonland. "Nearly three years ago, we launched an intensive restructuring of our company, and have now completed this phase, explained Käppel. In the process, we have reconfigured and redefined our priorities and the volume of our business activities. This also led to the decision not to fill the position of the coo once his contract expired."

The new TV-Loonland business model stipulates that the managing board take over a portion of the programming business previously overseen by Ferguson. As a complement to this, TV-Loonland intends to expand the areas of development, programming and distribution considerably on the level of department heads.
