TV-Loonland Adds Olivier Dumont & Kourtney Kaye to Key Posts

TV-Loonland is filling out its ranks, appointing Olivier Dumont as its new coo and Kourtney Kaye head of creative affairs and development.

Dumont, to be based in Paris and London, will define the strategy for the development, production and distribution of programming targeted at kids and families. He will report directly to the TV-Loonland ceo/chariman Selma Käppel and, with her, will also run the business development strategy for TV-Loonland.

TV-Loonland is pleased to add an executive of Oliviers caliber to the companys dynamic team, said Käppel. TV-Loonland is a proven leader in developing, producing and distributing quality animated programming for the international marketplace, and we look forward to Oliviers contribution to our further development and success.

Dumont comes from production house SIP Animation, formerly Saban International Paris, where he was md and specifically responsible for the development, financing and production of animated series. During his five-year career at SIP, he had many notable hit series which includes W.I.T.C.H., the action/adventure comedy series he exec produced.

Based in TV-Loonland's London office, Kaye will be responsible for creative programming output, as well as overseeing creative development and production, while maintaining and building production and strategic relationships with international broadcasters, publishers, creators, rights owners and other potential partners. She reports directly to Dumont.

Käppel said, "I am very excited about Kourtney joining TV-Loonland. Creative affairs and development is an extremely important position for us. There is a huge task ahead and we needed somebody with a lot of experience, talent and ambition. Kourtney is that person."

Dumont added, Kourtney is going to be a fantastic addition to the TV-Loonland team with her unique personality and talents. Under her supervision, you can surely expect to see truly outstanding projects coming from TV-Loonland very soon!

A founding member of Women in Animation, Kaye brings to TV-Loonland more than 15 years of experience in production and project development, spanning both sides of the Atlantic. She was head of international co-production at Kayenta Production in Paris.

Howard R. Lipson, Ph.D. and Lipson & Co. provided TV-Loonland with executive recruiting and consulting services on these senior management hires.
