Cartoon Network and Adult Swim Ad Sales has announced the newest member of the leadership team, Patty Gillette to the role of senior vice president, Brand Activation and Media Partnerships.

Cartoon Network and Adult Swim Ad Sales has announced the newest member of the leadership team, Patty Gillette to the role of senior vice president, Brand Activation and Media Partnerships.  Formerly vice president of marketing and promotions for sister division Turner Entertainment Ad Sales, Gillette will lead teams in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and Atlanta. Based in New York, she reports to John O’Hara, executive vice president and general sales manager of Cartoon Network and Adult Swim Ad Sales and Marketing.

“At Turner, we are extremely fortunate to have a talented pool of leaders within our own walls,” said O’Hara.  “I am very confident that Patty’s varied and deep experience, as well as her established relationships internally and externally, will enable her to lead this team of accomplished individuals to continued success.”

Gillette began her career with Turner in 1993 as director of sponsorships for the Goodwill Games.  Subsequent to the role, she joined the Turner Marketing Solutions Group, Turner’s first cross-divisional marketing and sales team developed to strategize deals across Time, Inc., Warner Bros., and Turner Broadcasting divisions.

In 1996, Gillette joined the marketing and promotions division within Turner Entertainment Ad Sales, managing development and execution for consumer and client promotions for both TBS and TNT.  She ultimately rose to her previous role as vice president, leading promotions teams across TBS, TNT and truTV, a team that has accounted for hundreds of promotions across the three television networks.
