Disney Channel is working on an animated TRON series. A 10-part micro-series will debut on Disney XD in fall 2011.
Additionally, Disney announced a movie based on their hit series PHINEAS AND FERB. That film is set to debut 2011 as well. PHINEAS AND FERB: ACROSS THE SECOND DIMENSION will send the duo and their pet platypus into a parallel dimension where they encounter an even more sinister version of Dr. Doofenshmirtz. The series is the highest rated animated series for both kids 6-14.
Disney XD will also debut THE AVENGERS; EARTH'S MIGHTIEST HEROES, the first new Marvel project since the company acquired the comic book empire. This move is a lead in to THE AVENGER feature film set for summer 2011.
