Disney Channel will broadcast the worldwide television premiere of the animated feature, TROLLZ: BEST FRIENDS FOR LIFE, from DIC Entertainment (DIC), on Aug. 27, 2005, at 2:00 pm with subsequent airdates scheduled September 3 and 29 on Toon Disney.
The Trollz world revolves on the adventures of five teenage best friends Amethyst, Onyx, Sapphire, Topaz and Ruby each of whom is very different from the other. Each friend offers her unique style in personality, color, fashion symbol and gemstone, but together they form the Magic of The Five.
The adorable, trend-setting Trollz get into the colorful, big-haired adventures as they learn a valuable lesson that strengthens their bond as friends. When jealousy leads to a spell gone awry, the five best friends learn about friendship, forgiveness and renew their vow to be TROLLZ: BEST FRIENDS FOR LIFE (B.F.F.L) in the new feature.
The TROLLZ lifestyle brand sets off this month in a back-to-school retail launch, which includes the first two direct-to-DVD titles from Warner Home Video, toys (Hasbro), books (Scholastic), videogames (Ubisoft), beauty accessories and a unique and an online community, www.trollz.com.
