Troika Names Lamba Creative Director

Hollywood-based Troika Design Group has named Sonia Lamba as creative director. "We have always had great respect for Sonia's work and her reputation as an innovator in our field, and we are excited to have her aboard as a creative director," said Troika co-founder and exec producer Chuck Carey.

A creative leader in design for more than 10 years, having held creative director positions at GOODSPOT in Santa Monica and global branding firm ATTIK, Lamba's portfolio includes noteworthy direct-to-client work for Sony Playstation, Fox Sports, Nike Inc., New Line Cinema, MTV Films and DIRECTV; ad campaigns for TBWAChiatDay, Grey Advertising and Saatchi & Saatchi; and award-winning branding work for the BBC, British Telecom TV and Bravo England.

At Troika, Lamba has already worked on projects for DIRECTV and TV Land. "Troika has been a force to be reckoned with nationally, and indeed internationally," she said. "I'm really looking forward to continuing that momentum, with the opportunity to enhance their creative excellence and aid their expansion into other markets of highly effective branding and design.

"In today's climate, I think it is essential for companies to successfully fuse creative talent with excellent client service. I am thrilled at the opportunity of collaborating with the best of the best in our industry today."

A graduate of the famed London College, Lamba's many awards include the Main Title Design Award from RESFEST 2001, a Chartered Society of Designers Gold Award for Print Design and various PROMAX and BDA honors.

Since 2001, when it was established by Dan Pappalardo, Mark Bohman and Carey, Troika Design Group (www.troika.tv) has emerged as one of the premier providers of full-service design, production and post-production services.
