Tractor Tom Plows Up Roadshow Ent. Deal

Contender Entertainment Group has secured a VHS/DVD deal in Australia with Roadshow Entertainment for its pre-school favorite TRACTOR TOM.

TRACTOR TOM has become an enormous success amongst pre-schoolers, combining a farmyard environment, cheery sing-alongs and bright imagery. It debuted down under in November 2004 on the Seven Network.

Roadshow Ent. will release the first TRACTOR TOM title, BAA BAA TOM SHEEP & OTHER STORIES VHS/DVD on May 19, supported by a huge integrated marketing campaign.

We are delighted to have TRACTOR TOM join the strong childrens VHS/DVD portfolio at Roadshow Ent., the leading pre-school VHS/DVD distributor, said Roadshows marketing director, Leisa Bacon. TRACTOR TOM has had enormous success in the U.K., and we look forward to replicating this in Australia.

Toys will launch Australias June catalogues exclusively through Myer Department Stores catalogs in June in Australia and Harper Collins will publish more than 10 titles in the first half of 2005. Other merchandise categories are soon to be announced.
