ToonBox’s ‘Beet Party’ Partners with Canadian Red Cross

ToonBox Entertainment puts ‘The Beet Party’ to work as part of a new educational program, Violence, Bullying and Abuse Prevention, for the Canadian Red Cross.

ToonBox Entertainment and the Canadian Red Cross (CRC) have partnered together for CRC’s educational program, Violence, Bullying and Abuse Prevention. Clips from ToonBox’s hit pre-school interstitial series, The Beet Party, will be used as an educational tool by Canadian teachers nationwide to help demonstrate basic lessons as to how to treat others with respect, acceptance, inclusion, encouragement, teamwork and sharing. The YMA-nominated interstitial series is currently airing in worldwide territories including Disney Junior (Latin America), SVT (Sweden), YLE (Finland), ABC (Australia), BBC Kids Canada and Yoopa (Quebec).

The Beet Party is a language-free, comical and musical adventure that follows five of the coolest beets that live in the fridge. When something new and unexpected arrives in the kitchen, the Beets explore, experiment, build and play in original and inventive ways with hilarious results.

The Canadian Red Cross has decades of experience providing safety and prevention education across the country and around the world. The Canadian Red Cross Violence, Bullying and Abuse Prevention program works with schools, organizations and communities to create safe environments for children and youth, as well as for adults who work with or care for young people. This program also promotes safety for adults by preventing violence in the workplace. To find an online or classroom learning option that is right for you, visit www.redcross.ca/ViolencePrevention.
