Press Release from Toon Goggles

LOS ANGELES, CA, March 17, 2011 – Toon Goggles, a new cartoon website by ADC Licensing, lets kids stream endless parent friendly cartoons and boasts a special benefit for animators, rights holders, and network executives —a chance to see how these cartoons fare with millions of kid viewers.

Toon Goggles offers never-before-seen pilots, trailers, clips, and full episodes of professionally produced cartoons. This parent and child friendly online destination is available on any computer as well as the iOS and Android mobile platforms via the web or mobile application.

As an exciting advantage for the animation industry, Toon Goggles collects metrics that track an individual cartoon’s performance.  Animation Rights Holders are therefore encouraged to test-drive any content on Toon Goggles for valuable feedback. Rights Holders and any Network Executives who sign up for the free service can access the data, which includes viewer demographics, time spent watching, star ratings and more.

Material from older libraries (now retired and off the air) are welcome, as these past cartoons can be dusted off for new audiences and enjoyed as before. It is also a great opportunity professionally produced cartoons that never found on home on television.

Previously unfinished projects can be placed on Toon Goggles to renew financial interest with the Networks.

Toon Goggles currently offers cartoons produced in both English and Spanish and it anticipates more languages will be added.

Toon Goggles hopes to help independent cartoons make the leap into television by giving Network Executives solid proof of success.  A resume-like “facepage” will profile each cartoon with their unique characters and showcase the company involved in the production.

Children will be able to share their favorite cartoons with their friends, through email, where they can view them instantly. Parents can feel safe with their child’s discoveries, as each cartoon will be reviewed for strict child appropriate content.

The website is completely free for viewers and Rights Holders. Submissions can be made online via an easy-to-use drag and drop portal (up to 20 videos) or sent on DVD to Toon Goggles.  For more information or to sign up, please email info@toongoggles.info or visit the demo website at toongoggles.info.
