TOKYOPOP Turns Fairly Oddparents Into Cine-Manga

TOKYOPOP Inc. and Nickelodeon have teamed up to bring Nicks series THE FAIRLY ODDPARENTS into Cine-Manga. Composed of digital images directly from the animation, the full-color books will debut in March 2004.

TOKYOPOP's senior editor, Cine-Manga, Elizabeth Hurchalla, said, "We're delighted to bring the madcap hilarity of THE FAIRLY ODDPARENTS to readers in the portable, full-color pages of Cine-Manga. Not only will kids of all ages find a cool new way to enjoy the show, but they'll be able to take the action with them wherever they go."

The show follows Timmy Turner, an average 10-year old kid whose fairy godparents get him into mishaps unimaginable. Other Nickelodeon properties that have gotten a Cine-Manga series include SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS and THE ADVENTURES OF JIMMY NEUTRON.
