Toei Closes Deals With New Licensees For Saint Seiya

On the heels of Shanghai Licensing Show 2010, Toei Animation and its partner, PPW (Promotional Partners Worldwide), announces several licensing deals in China for the animated property, Saint Seiya.

SHANGHAI (October 20, 2010) – On the heels of Shanghai Licensing Show 2010, Toei Animation and its partner, PPW (Promotional Partners Worldwide), announces several licensing deals in China for the animated property, Saint Seiya.

* Metersbonwe, the largest apparel company in China, will launch a young adult’s clothing line based on the characters from Saint Seiya.  The apparel will launch in 2011.* Tian Yi Audio & Visual, a DVD company based in China, will street a Saint Seiya box set in 2011.* Leading toy manufacturer, Bandai (Guangzhou), will continue to release their best selling collectable toy line in 2011.  The toy line will be distributed in China by Toys ‘N Wonder.

“PPW has great experience promoting and merchandising products in China.  With the new deals currently in hand, we hope to explore more potential licensees to expand the Saint Seiya market,” said Kanji Kazahaya, Director of the International Department.
