Tim Burton is participating in an Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter art contest in which he will serve as the judge selecting the grand-prize winner.

As part of its ramp-up to the film’s June 22 release, 20th Century Fox is challenging fans to depict their allegiance through creative illustrations. The five top entries as voted by the public will be presented to the famed director, who will then pick the grand-prize winner. The grand prize winner will win a private midnight screening of Vampire Hunter in their hometown and four runners-up will receive a movie poster signed by Burton.

Entrants must choose to depict their allegiance to either patriotic hero Lincoln or to the evil vampiric enemies of America. All styles and media are encouraged, including cartooning, photography, painting, sculpture, graphic design, etc. Submissions must be on the online gallery at facebook.com/vampirehunter by May 12, 2012.
