Three New Animated Series Join Fox Family's Daytime Slate

Fox Family Channel announced on March 28 the addition of three new animated series to their 2001-2002 daytime programming lineup. The new series additions are BRACEFACE, an animated comedy about the trials of adolescence, produced by and featuring the voice of Alicia Silverstone, with 26 half-hour episodes produced by Nelvana; DA MOB, the comedic animated adventures of a teenage hip-hop band willing to do whatever it takes to reach stardom, with 26 episodes produced by Happy Life Entertainment; and TOTALLY SPIES, an animated action-comedy starring three Beverly Hills teens turned secret agents, with 26 episodes produced by Marathon. Fox Family also has new episodes scheduled for returning shows ANGELA ANACONDA and THE KIDS FROM ROOM 402. According to Maureen Smith, president of Fox Family Channel and Fox Kids Network, "Our steady and continual growth reflects that we have created a distinct destination for older kids and tweens during the day. This season's new star-power, combined with original returning series and music specials, will further establish us as a leader in reaching these highly sought after demographics."
