Thinkbox Software Opens Beta for Deadline 6.2, Stoke MX 2.0

Thinkbox Software launches beta builds of Deadline 6.2 and Stoke MX 2.0.

Thinkbox Software has launched beta builds of Deadline 6.2 – the latest iteration of its high-volume data management solution for rendering or processing information -- and Stoke MX 2.0 -- the newest version of its plug-in for quickly creating or modifying existing high-count particle clouds in Autodesk 3ds Max.

In addition to new features and overall enhancements to existing plug-ins and scripts, Deadline 6.2 adds support for Autodesk 2015 products (3ds Max, Maya, Softimage, Composite), Anime Studio 10, DJV Imaging, The Foundry’s MODO 8xx and Trimble SketchUp 3D. Deadline 6.2 also supports the GPU-accelerated Redshift renderer in Maya and Softimage, all Maya Extensions, and includes a new integrated submitter for Side Effects Software Houdini.

Stoke MX 2.0 introduces advanced field I/O as well as editing and manipulation capabilities designed to enhance particle simulations within the application, various native 3ds Max sub-systems and other compatible third party plug-ins. Users that opt to purchase Stoke before the end of beta will lock in current pricing and receive the Stoke MX 2.0 upgrade for free.
