Live action production company th2ng has joined forces with animation company Film Club to create a mixed-media ad for Asda's clothing brand George. The ad was commissioned by Fallon and will air this month.

The commercial highlights George's value and quality schoolwear ahead of the new school year in September.

With George offering 'Any 3 for £10' from kids' polos and shirts to trousers and skirts, the ad animates kids against a school exercise background. As they jump around, their clothes animate and change to show the great value gear available.

Nick Miekle shot the ad in real time and then frame cut to create an animated look. Paul Bush from Film Club added animated doodles and sketches to pages of the exercise book to complete the final look.

All post-production was completed at th1ng's Wardour Street studio.
