Shelley Conn (CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY) has signed on as the female lead in FOX's TERRA NOVA, reports Deadline.com. He joins Jason O'Mara and Stephen Lang.
The TV series will follow Jim Shannon (O'Mara), Elizabeth Shannon (Conn) and their three children as they join Terra Nova, a colony in prehistoric time where people from 2149 are sent to help save the Earth.
20th TV, Chernin Entertainment, Kapital Entertainment and DreamWorks TV are producing.
Production will start in October in Australia. The show will preview in May 2011 and start airing regularly in the fall.
