Press Release from Zoic Studios

Last week Zoic Studios celebrated its awesome work on not one but three major premieres kicking off the Fall 2009 TV season.

ABC's much-anticipated sci-fi drama FlashForward had 12.4 million viewers Thursday night, beating CBS' Survivor. The episode featured Zoic's work on the "City of Destruction" sequence.

The astonishing first two minutes of the tenth-season opener for CBS' CSI: Crime Scene Investigation consisted of a single effects sequence created by Zoic. It was the largest effect ever produced for the show.

Meanwhile Fringe, which earned a Visual Effects Society award last season, moved to Thursday night for its second season debut and was followed by a loyal audience of over 5 million viewers. And the sneak preview for V, a reimagining of the classic 1983-85 alien invasion series surprised and delighted viewers eager for the new show's launch later this year.

Speaking to his team of artists following the Thursday premieres, Zoic Studios Creative Director Andrew Orloff said: "I just wanted to congratulate everyone for creating fantastic VFX for TV. The night brought 34 million pairs of eyeballs to our work. I couldn't be prouder of everyone, and of the work we create on a daily basis here at Zoic."
