Warner Bros. is eyeing an adaptation of the anime series, BLEACH, reports HEAT VISION. WB is working on a deal to have Callahan Filmworks' Peter Segal (GET SMART) and Michael Ewing produce along with U.S. right holder VIZ Media.

The series follows a 15-year-old who gains the powers of a female Soul Reaper, the escort of the dead. She is now trapped in human form on Earth and he must fight evil. Tite Kubo created the original manga.

In Japan, the property has already been adapted into TV series, features and a musical.
