AMC has greenlit zombie series THE WALKING DEAD, reports VARIETY. Frank Darabont will adapt Robert Kirkman's graphic novel series that tells the story of the survivors of a zombie apocalypse. Darabont will helm with Valhalla Motion Pictures' Gale Anne Hurd and Circle of Confusion's David Alpert exec producing with him.
