Nickelodeon’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles return with a “Total Turtle Takeover,” Friday, Jan. 25, at 7:00 p.m. (ET/PT) and the premiere of the all-new “I, Monster.”  During the episode, the Turtles must face-off against a new enemy, The Rat King, who threatens not only to take control of the city, but Splinter’s mind as well.  The “Total Turtle Takeover” night continues with encore episodes until 9:00 p.m. (ET/PT).  The series will debut premiere episodes in its regular Saturday 11:00 a.m. (ET/PT) timeslot beginning Saturday, Feb. 2.

In 2013, the world of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles gets a little more complicated, a little more dangerous and a whole lot more bizarre. Ever since they stepped out of the sewers, the Turtles have had to deal with mutants, creepy aliens and a deadly ninja army out for revenge.  The situation worsens as the Turtles discover more details of the Kraang's alien agenda.  Additionally, they find themselves facing a new foe in Karai, a teenage female ninja in the service of The Shredder.  As lethal as she is beautiful, Karai brings a whole new level of chaos and complication for the Turtles.  The conflict between the Turtles and their numerous enemies escalates into a major season one showdown where the Turtles find themselves fighting a battle against creatures they could never have imagined and the fate of the world hanging in the balance.
