Taffy Ent. has signed a co-production deal with Korean broadcaster EBS and France 5, for its new preschool series LAMIMILA, produced by MoonScoop and Characterplan.

This 65x7 series is aimed at a preschool audience, which is set for a fall 2007 delivery.

The series focuses on unleashing children’s imagination, developing observational skills and having fun through a compelling story. LAMIMILA involves the viewer, inspiring them to design their own story and has been developed with a planned range of books, stickers, activity kits, music CDs and games to extend the viewing experience for pre-schoolers.

EBS airs a number of Taffy Ent. properties including DR. DOG. EBS and Characterplan’s program BIRDS AND BEES won an award at Annecy 2006.

Lionel Marty, president of worldwide distribution, Taffy Ent., said, “We have a great relationship with France 5 and with EBS and are delighted to welcome them on board Lamimila. The series is an innovative new property with great licensing and merchandising potential. We are looking to sign further pre-sales and partnerships at MIPCOM.”
