Stephen King has entered negotiations to pen an episode of AMC's THE WALKING DEAD, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The news came out via actress Laurie Holden at the Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo. Series creator and exec producer Frank Darabont has a long track record with King material, having helmed King adaptations THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, THE GREEN MILE and THE MIST. Darabont will not direct the season two premiere episode, but later episodes in the season.
