Starz has set January 27th at 10 pm as the premiere date for SPARTACUS: VENGEANCE, reports Deadline.com. The new season will follow the storyline of SPARTACUS: BLOOD AND SAND, which debuted in 2010. Earlier this year Starz aired the prequel series SPARTACUS: GODS OF THE ARENA, while original star Andy Whitfield battled cancer. Since Whitfield's death, Liam McIntyre has been cast as the title character. Rob Tapert, Steven S. DeKnight, Sam Raimi and Joshua Donen produce the series.
