Seth Green and Matthew Senreich of Stoopid Monkey Prods., who created ROBOT CHICKEN, and Buddy Systems’ John Harvatine IV and Eric Towner have teamed up to form a joint stop-motion animation studio called Stoopid Buddy Stoodios, reports Deadline.com. The new company will produce individual and group projects from the foursome, as well as outside stop-motion projects. The new studio will take over the sixth season of ROBOT CHICKEN from ShadowMachine Films, which will no longer co-produce the series with Stoopid Monkey Prods. Stoopid Monkey Prods. and Buddy Systems first teamed on the YouTube show STOOPID MONKEY and Towner and Harvatine were animators on season 2 and 3 of ROBOT CHICKEN before striking out on their own.
