FX has given a pilot order to an adaptation of Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Avon Oeming’s graphic novel POWERS, reports Deadline.com. The story follows two detectives who specialize in cases involving superpowers. Charles H. Eglee, who was an exec producer on THE WALKING DEAD, penned the teleplay and Michael Dinner, who directed the pilot for JUSTIFIED, will direct.

Sony Pictures TV and FX Prods. are producing. Dinner has been developing the project for years and will produce with Eglee and Circle of Confusion.
