New York-based Lavinia’s World has announced that THE OOSHES has been chosen as one of five finalists in the 2005 MIPCOM Jr. Licensing Challenge. The finalists will be pitching their projects live to a jury that will select one as the winner. The final round of this competition, organized by MIPCOM Jr. and LICENSE! MAGAZINE will take place on Oct. 16, in Cannes, France.

THE OOSHES is a 2D animated comedy series. A cartoon storyboard for a seven-minute interstitial pilot episode is now available. “A Rainbow Story” is the title of this episode that tells of the adventure of a very small ladybug. The goal of THE OOSHES is to encourage kids to love and enjoy nature and to inspire curiosity about what exists in the natural world just beyond their front door.

This past month, CREATIVE CHILD MAGAZINE awarded its 2005 Top Creative Toy Award in the Storybook with Characters category to THE OOSHES STELLA and its accompanying storybook, A WISH COMES TRUE.
