Craig McCracken’s latest 2D creation, FOSTER’S HOME FOR IMAGINARY FRIENDS, is back with a new season beginning Jan. 21, 2005 at 7:00 pm on Cartoon Network. The second season continues the adventures of Mac, a normal 8-year-old, and Blooregard Q. Kazoo, his imaginary friend.

The shy Mac has the perfect alter ego in Blooregard, the impulsive and brash creature who lives at Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends, a haven for wayward Imaginary Friends like Wilt, Eduardo, Coco and others who have been separated from the kids who invented them. Madame Foster and the home’s staff (giant bunny-turned-house administrator Mr. Herriman and Frankie, Madame Foster’s sensible granddaughter) agree to let Mac visit often and keep Bloo from being adopted by anyone else.

The assorted, odd residents are bizarre manifestations of children’s desires. All of them have a distinct personality and want nothing more than to find another kid to permanently live with.

FOSTER’S HOME FOR IMAGINARY FRIENDS, created by McCracken, who also delivered the mega-hit THE POWERPUFF GIRLS, debuted Aug. 13 and was Carton Networks biggest hit for 2004.
