Live-Action Noir TV Series Lands on Starz

Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert have sold their live-action remake of anime series NOIR to Starz, reports Deadline.com. The story follows two rival assassins that team up to discover how they are both connected to a secret organization. Steven Lightfoot, who penned the adaptation, will also exec produce with Raimi, Tapert, Joshua Donen and Bill Hamm. The number of episodes has not been determined, but Starz series usually receive eight to 10 episode orders.
