Agoura Hills, California-based Krislin Co. has completed production on ROOM TO GROW, an all CGI half-hour special ready for broadcast and DVD release. ROOM TO GROW has been chosen as an official selection in both the Durango Film Festival and the East Lansing Children’s Film Festivals.

Based on the children’s book by Tina Dominik-Tait, ROOM TO GROW is the story of tiny “Kinderlings” who live in the underbrush of a beautiful garden. Their world is threatened when an unhappy “Weed” attempts to destroy the garden because he isn’t beautiful like the others. The littlest Kinderlings, Rose and Woad, have to come to the rescue to save the day and convince Weed that it’s not what’s on the outside that matters, but it’s what’s inside that counts.

Distribution and licensing opportunities are being handled by Krislin. The project was completely self-funded along with production partner Digital Global Company of Korea, according to Walt Kubiak, president of Krislin.
