VARIETY reports that this Sunday's KING OF THE HILL finale almost didn't happen as planned. After FOX pulled the plug on the series for the third time, the producers devised a series finale. However, FOX only picked up 13 of the 17 episodes produced by 20th Century Fox TV, which did not include the finale titled "To Sirloin, With Love." But 20th Century renegotiated its original agreement to switch out one of the 13 accepted episodes with the true finale. The four unaired episodes will head to syndication and DVD.
