Kevin Williamson, co-creator and exec producer VAMPIRE DIARIES, is developing a new supernatural drama, reports Deadline.com. The project is set up at Warner Bros. TV and is being eyed as a companion to CW's DIARIES.

Described as THE X-FILES meets BUFFY, the show will follow paranormal investigators.

VAMPIRE DIARIES co-creator/exec producer Julie Plec is in negotiations to co-write with Williamson.
