Pinup girl Azusa Yamamoto will make her singing debut performing the theme song of the popular Japanese television animation program, URUSEI YATSURA, reports MAINICHI-MSN. The title of the song is "Lum's Love Song," and the CD will go on sale on March 7, 2007, in Japan.

Created by cartoonist Rumiko Takahashi, URUSEI YATSURA is a science fiction comedy that features high school student Ataru and a beautiful girl who comes from space, Lum.

Six animated versions of the cartoon have already been produced for movie theaters.

Yamamoto, 25, will make appearances on March 10 in events to promote the debut of her CD at two electric appliance shops in the Akihabara district of Tokyo.
