Web entertainment network Heavy.com has signed a deal to have its BEHIND THE MUSIC THAT SUCKS Net series appear within the TV variety show FARMCLUB on USA Network. THAT SUCKS is a 52-Webisode series that lampoons the hit VH-1 show, BEHIND THE MUSIC. Popular recording artists’ rise to stardom is reinvented in outrageous ways. "As the signature show on Heavy.com, BEHIND THE MUSIC THAT SUCKS has a great following," said show creator and Heavy.com’s Co-CEO David Carson. "We’re totally into the Heavy.com/Farmclub association. Our attitude and our audience are similar so it’s pretty much a no-brainer." Heavy.com Co-CEO, Simon Assaad, said, "BEHIND THE MUSIC THAT SUCKS defines the Heavy.com distribution strategy, which is to create a network through the syndication of branded compelling content." Carson and Assaad created the series and the 13 finished episodes can be seen on Heavy.com and UGO.com, an entertainment portal that features content. New York-based Heavy.com has a 50 person staff creating and producing 7 original animated and live-action Net shows.
