Two FAMILY GUY writers have been promoted to showrunner status and have sealed multi-year deals at Fox, reports Variety.

GUY writers Mark Hentemann and Steve Callaghan will serve as the new co-showrunners. Hentemann joined the show as a writer in its second season. Callaghan began as writer's assistant --having been with the show, since its start.

Current showrunners David Goodman and Chris Sheridan will remain onboard as FAMILY GUY executive producers.
