THE EVENT creator Nick Wauters and exec producer Steve Stark are in discussions to bring the cancelled NBC series to Syfy, reports Deadline.com. The show would be transformed into a miniseries for the cable net. Syfy is a sister company to the show's producer Universal Media Studios. If the miniseries goes and does well, it could launch a new TV series.
