Syfy has greenlit a pilot for a small screen adaptation of DC Comics' BOOSTER GOLD, reports The Hollywood Reporter. The story follows a has-been athlete who travels back in time with the wish to become a famous superhero.

Berlanti Prods., in association with Warner Horizon Television, is the studio behind the project. Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg will exec produce with Kreisberg writing.
