Deadline.com reports that Brian Grazer told MTV News that his Imagine Ent.'s epic feature film/TV adaptation of Stephen King's THE DARK TOWER has found a TV home. The uber producer said that HBO would partner with them on the two limited seasons that are planned to bridge the trilogy of theatrical films. He added that the company is still in talks to find a movie studio to partner with.

Ron Howard and Grazer are producing with Howard committed to direct at least the first feature and first season of the TV series. Akiva Goldsman is writing the scripts. Javier Bardem is still attached to play the gunslinger Roland Deschain, who sets out to find the legendary Dark Tower in order to save the world.
