Cartoon Network and Adult Swim Launch On Canada's Bell

Toronto, ON – TELETOON Canada announced that the recently launched popular kids animation channel Cartoon Network and its late night, young adult counterpart Adult Swim, are available to Bell subscribers as of September 27, 2012. Cartoon Network is offered on Bell Satellite TV’s channel 564 and Bell FIBE TV’s channels 567 and 1567 in the Family 1 and Best packages. The channel is available as a Free Preview offering to Bell Satellite TV and Bell FIBE TV subscribers from September 27, 2012 to December 31, 2012.

“Since announcing the arrival of Cartoon Network and Adult Swim in Canada, the response and demand from Canadians and animation fans coast-to-coast has been overwhelming,” said Trent Locke, Vice-President, Business Operations, TELETOON Canada. “We’re thrilled to join forces with Bell to make these top-rated brands and their iconic characters from new and classic television shows available to Bell subscribers.”

Officially launched by TELETOON Canada on July 4, 2012, Cartoon Network offers hilarious animated and live-action content for kids and families from 6 a.m. ET/PT to 9 p.m. ET/PT, including hit titles Level Up, Regular Show and The Amazing World of Gumball. Post 9 p.m. ET/PT, Adult Swim presents irreverent, funny programming for young adults including popular series such as Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!, The Venture Bros. and Aqua Teen Hunger Force.
