The Boondocks Returns in 2010 After Two-Year Hiatus

THE BOONDOCKS is returning for a third season after nearly a two-year hiatus, VARIETY reports.

Aaron McGruder, the creator, posted a tweet that indicated the show is currently in production and set to air early in the year.

The project took its initial bow on Adult Swim, but no network has been announced for its return. The latest episode ran in spring 2008.
